Enology & Gastronomy

Join enology and gastronomy. Visit the Celler Batlliu and  taste cheese samples. Have a wine-pairing  menu with Pyrenean products  or  Lunch at the Farmhouse of the Celler 

Mountain vineyards, located between 900 and 1.000 mt. high, on lands abounding in slate and with a great deal of precipitation, they nevertheless produce quality wines due to the winds and a considerable thermal contrast between day and night. The Celler Batlliu is investigating to recover  autochthonous varieties, abandoned during the phylloxera plague. At present they are working on the  Pinot Noir and  Riesling varieties which are representative of the high mountain area.
The owners will tell us about their experience in this project while we have  a taste  of wine and cheese.

After the visit we have two options:

Option A:

Walking to Sort where we will have a Tasting Menu of Pyrenean products pairing with wines from the Celler Batlliu.

Option B:

Lunch at the  Farmhouse of the Celler, quite an experience.

It Includes: 

- 1 nitght hotel accommodation including breakfast

- choice of option A or B.

Not Included:

- touristic tax: 0,50€ per person and night to be paid at lodging.

Price Option A 150,00 € per person in double room(minimum 6 persons)
Price Option B 130,00 € per person in double room (minimum 8 persons)
